Add his initials, your wedding date, or a few quiet words, and a small accessory becomes something he keeps for good. A reminder of the morning he married you.

In short

Wedding cufflinks are personalised cufflinks, worn by the groom and given to the groomsmen, best man, ushers and fathers. Most couples go for the gift set, which pairs engraved cufflinks with a matching tie clip. Silver suits a classic, understated look, while gold feels warmer and a little more of a statement. You pick one of our wedding engraving designs, see it on the cufflinks with a live preview before you order, then choose Standard or Priority delivery.

The gift

The gift that becomes part of the day

Most wedding gifts are opened once and put away. Cufflinks are different, because they're worn. He puts them on as he's getting ready, they catch the light in the photographs, and they come back out for every anniversary and black tie evening for years afterwards.

There's a moment when he opens the box and realises someone planned this for him. That's the real gift. It's why brides, parents and grooms keep coming back to them.

Who wears them, and who gives them

Gold or silver?

Both look wonderful. It really comes down to the suit.

  • Crisp and modern

The set

Cufflinks alone, or the gift set?

For a wedding, most people go for the set. The matching tie clip finishes the look, and the gift feels complete when he lifts the lid. Cufflinks and tie clip together, boxed, with a card to write on.

It's better value, too. Less than buying the pieces on their own, and it's the one most couples choose.

The timing

When to order

Everything is engraved to order, checked by hand and sent tracked. You'll see an estimated delivery date on every product page.

StandardPlenty of time? Order on Standard and relax.
PriorityCutting it fine? Choose Priority at checkout. It's there for exactly this.

A good rule of thumb: order the cufflinks when you order the suits. Leave a little extra time for a full party set or a bespoke design.

On the day

How to wear cufflinks

  1. Start with a double cuff shirt, the kind where the cuff folds back on itself.
  2. Line up the four buttonholes and fold the cuff together.
  3. Push the cufflink through both layers. The fixed back holds it in place, with nothing to turn or fasten.
  4. Finish with the matching tie clip, worn between the third and fourth shirt buttons.

Good to know

Questions, answered

How does the engraving work?
Pick one of our wedding engraving designs and type in your details: initials, a date, a name, a role or a short message. The live preview shows it on the cufflinks as you go, so you know exactly how it'll look before you buy. Engraving is free.
What are the cufflinks made of?
Stainless steel at the core, plated in gold or silver and polished to a mirror shine. Each pair is engraved and hand finished in England, then presented in a gift box.
Gold or silver for a wedding?
Silver is the classic, versatile choice and works beautifully with navy, grey and charcoal. Gold is a touch warmer and bolder, and lovely with black tie, cream and tan.
Should groomsmen have matching cufflinks?
They look wonderful together in the photographs. Plenty of grooms choose one design for the whole party and set themselves apart with a different finish.
Can you engrave a family crest or my own design?
Yes. Upload your custom design and we'll take it from there. Bespoke pieces take a little longer, so leave some extra time.
How far in advance should I order?
Everything's made to order, and each product page shows an estimated delivery date. Give yourself a comfortable buffer, and if the wedding is close, choose Priority at checkout.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship worldwide.
